Early Childhood
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs begin the journey of academic and character development. Holy Family Parish Schools’ curriculum is designed to help students grow in all areas of learning: spiritual, academic, social, and motor-skills! Our safe and nurturing environment focuses on creating future leaders by developing discipline of the body, mind, and spirit.
Catholic Faith
Our students learn about the morals and values inherent in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our faith-based environment enables students to model the love of God. Students learn to foster respect for all human beings and reflect the light of Christ through humility, love and sacrifice.
Academics
Our focus on academic excellence produces students who excel and outperform public school students, preparing them better for their futures. We support each child’s individual strengths and unique gifts by offering an array of accelerated programs to provide extra support for special needs. Over 95% of our students meet or exceed academic expectations in reading and mathematics by the time they graduate.
Activities
Holy Family Parish School specializes in the Fine Arts. We offer art, dance, choir/music, band, foreign language K-8, 1:1 technology K-8, speech and scholastic bowl. We have athletic teams in volleyball, soccer, basketball and track & field.

Growing Disciples Pastoral Plan
Since coming to Central Illinois, The Most Reverend Bishop Louis Tylka has listened to the people of the Diocese of Peoria. In response to what he has learned, Bishop Tylka has commissioned a pastoral planning process called Growing Disciples. This plans goal is to move the diocese further into the mission which Christ has given us: to go and make disciples.

Testimonials
What Parents are Saying
“As a Holy Family alum, it was a natural choice to send my boys to my parish school. I will never regret this choice, as HFS has proven to provide my sons with a Catholic education that also promotes excellence in academics. I am very proud of the latest updates to the curriculum, and the dedication of the administration and staff to providing a well-rounded educational experience.“
“Holy Family is a great school that comes with a community of support. My son has had an amazing experience the last two years. He has grown to love school and learning. The environment that the school provides the kids is warm, safe and welcoming. They are given an opportunity to learn academics, faith, and compassion.“
“Mr. Doherty was always there when I needed him. Never will I forget his enthusiasm and desire to see his students succeed. Somehow he was able to provide exceptional learning for every student in the class, both those who wanted to learn, and those that did not care. His willingness to step up and help me, not only my applications for IMSA, but also preparation for the SAT really stands out in my mind.”

Diversity statement
Holy Family School is a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community where all students are valued and celebrated as children of God.
Holy Family’s diversity enriches the social interactions and intellects of students by exposing them to multiple approaches, perspectives, and frames of reference. Research shows that children educated in diverse schools have fewer prejudices and stereotypes, engage in a more reflective consideration of knowledge, are more open to new approaches, learn to ask more questions, explore a broader range of solutions to problems, and are more willing to interact with a broad range of people – skills which are essential in the global marketplace of the 21st century.
Our student body is composed of a rich and vibrant group of cultures including Filipino, Latino, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Indian, and African American. Our culturally responsive classrooms and World Language Program ensure that all students, regardless of their background, are fully supported and provided with the best opportunity to learn.
