I was born and educated through high school in Ottawa, Illinois. I graduated from Western Illinois University in 1973 with a major in History and an emphasis in education and a minor in political science. I have a Wife and three grown children along with two grandsons, so far. I began teaching in August of 1974 in the Ottawa area, while continuing studies at Northern Illinois University and Illinois State University. In 1982 I moved my family to California. It was there, I added a second minor, in mathematics, to my degree while studying at the University of California @ Berkeley, University of the Pacific and California State University, East Bay. I taught in California until 1999 and then moved back to Illinois. I began teaching at Holy Family Parish School in August 2000. My favorite hobbies are spoiling my grandsons and vacationing with my family.
