I have attended Catholic schools since the first grade and eventually went on to attend St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education with a Kindergarten endorsement. I grew up in Fair Oaks, California, and moved here to Peoria (where my husband grew up) in 2003. We have three children who attend Holy Family Parish School.

I am currently teaching 1st grade at Holy Family School and have also taught 3rd grade here. Previously I taught at Immaculate Conception In Monmouth, Illinois.  I went to Illinois State for my degree and have taken classes at Western, ISU, and ICC.  I grew up on a farm in Western Illinois.  I appreciate all nature and land that God made and try to incorporate this into my lessons.

I was raised in southern Illinois and moved to Ohio in 7th grade. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University. I am married with four children, and my husband and children all graduated from Holy Family Parish School. Second grade is an exciting and special year for the children. I love teaching the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. 
I am a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer on other committees in the school.
