Early Childhood

Students get an early start on learning in our Pre-School (3-yr. old) and Pre-Kindergarten (4-yr. old) classes. Parents have the option of having their children attend all-day or half-day sessions.

Early Childhood Education (Pre-School & Pre-Kindergarten)

Holy Family focuses on learning activities that are fun and, at the same time, encourage self-expression, develop social skills, and enhance the cognitive skills necessary for learning beyond Kindergarten.

Pre-School Program

This program is for three and early four-year-olds. Children will participate in activities that enhance age-appropriate spiritual, cognitive, social, and physical development. The setting is a warm environment with supportive teachers who encourage and welcome every child.

Our four to five-year-old program is intended to ensure that the children are building a strong foundation for kindergarten. The emphasis shifts toward more academic areas of early literacy and math skills. Special concern is given to the small motor skills of pre-writing and cutting.

Religious Development

Our preschool and pre-kindergarten will soon be utilizing a new Montessori based religious education program called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  The program allows students to discover the various mysteries found in our scriptures and reflect on the beauty of the liturgies through hands-on activities.  Our mission is to lead children to Jesus by giving them the opportunities they need to know Him personally.
